Roger built a ranch in the Big Hole Valley of Montana, between the Bitterroot and Pioneer Mountains, where he gained a deep respect for the power and mystique of the bison. Over time, his bison operation grew to several thousand head, and a successful family business was born. According to Roger, the greatest meat that comes off their land is that of the bison, which he affectionately calls the "lobster of the land."
